English Gypsies and Travellers

English Gypsies and Travellers are migrant communities of Romani ethnicity. In England in many regions they are much maligned, living on the outskirts of towns, still fighting for basic rights. These images where taken at Appleby Horse Fair, an annual festival of horse races, horse buying market, and cultural events which attract Travellers across the country and tourists alike.
